Specifications
What do you want? You can have 2 buttons with simple plug and play, 2 buttons with a middle wheel, optical sensor in the bottom, cordless, liquid filled, translucent, metallic... The list is almost endless! Design briefs are usually based on an existing mouse specification. For example you can have a mouse in the shape of a drinks bottle with a wheel and two buttons.

Prices
Prices reflect the specification. For example the cost of a specially shaped mouse with a scroll wheel, 2 buttons and a ball in the bottom would be about the same as a WheelMouse2. The tooling and carriage would then need to be added. Tooling and carriage are dependent on the shape, size, weight etc so can only be quoted on a case by case basis and are subject to sight of design.
